This is awesome

Afternoon delight

Meg has the day off so she dropped off some treats for me at work.
That would be honeydew bubble tea and red bean buns and mochi for
those of you keeping score at home.

Mirror's Edge

Really interesting game. Can't wait to play it.

Wedding vendors: Chariots for Hire

We had a shuttle for the wedding party, another shuttle to take our guests from the hotel to the venue, plus we had a car take us away after the reception. We also had a sport utility to pack up all our stuff after the reception and drive back to the hotel (thanks Matt!). The vendor we used was awesome -- Chariots for Hire.

The wedding party shuttle driver was easy going, didn't get lost and was happy to do whatever we needed him to do, including a side trip to Starbucks on our way to the reception.

We found all their drivers to be great. The guys in the sport utility helped move all our stuff up to Meg's parents hotel room.

The only hiccup was the driver who drove Meg and myself away for the night got lost leaving the Navy Yard (though he wasn't the only one...) but we were able to direct him back to freeway easy enough.

Anyway, they were great, and their costs were competitive. Plus they immediately got us what we needed at the last minute when our first vendor reneged on the contract.

Wedding x2

Not much I can really write to do it justice. It was one of the greatest days of my life. Everyone had a great time, and I loved seeing all the different parts of our lives come together - our families and friends. Thanks to everyone who uploaded pics. As soon as we get the official ones, I'll also upload them.

And my great uncle who flew non stop for over 24 hours from Taiwan to attend my wedding -- I am in awe of this man and I feel privileged that he came. His speech reminded me the importance of who I am and where I come from.

Our family got together again 2 weeks later for Adela's wedding. I thought Adela looked amazing, the church they were married in was beautiful, and when it came time for big family pictures, no squinting in the sun! :) My family doesn't get together very often, but when we do, its a pretty fantastic time of food, drinking and food.

I've decided that Nathan should always be in a suit or tuxedo when the family gets together.

We had such a fantastic time in Philadelphia, and we plan on going back for a long weekend after the game ships. So if you see me eating a cheesesteak on South St., run to your local retailer because you'll find Fallout 3 on the shelf.

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Parts 2 and 3

So awesome, so Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was going to split these into two posts, but the awesome-ness just can't be contained. Watch 'em both.

So.. what are you doing RIGHT NOW? Yeah, watching this video, that's what. Right now. Stop doing that and watch.

Best of Show

A couple days ago, Fallout 3 was awarded Best of Show for the 2008 E3 Game Critics Awards. We were also awarded Best RPG of Show.

We've gotten other E3 awards and press coverage from a multitude of gaming publications and websites, but for me personally, this one means the most. The top journalists, writers and analysts in the game industry are judges, and for them to pick us above some other amazing games, is a nice boost.

I'm especially looking forward to LittleBigPlanet (I have a PS3 now, w00t!!) and Gears 2 (coop bot matches, w00t!!).

Loads of Wedding pics

Thanks to everybody who uploaded wedding pictures -- you can see them all here. Its pretty cool to see all our different friends and families in one place like this. A one of a kind event, which really made our day that much more special. We won't get our official pics for a few more weeks, but in many ways, I think I like these more, especially Martie's pictures.

Hmmm. Honeymoon!

We're back. Good to be home. Back to crunch mode. As Emil said yesterday my first day back at work, "From wife to widow in a day..."
